The Navajo Nation is located in northern Arizona and New Mexico.  Their traditional pottery is characterized by the pitch (tree sap) coating on the pottery surface; although some contemporary Navajo pottery has taken on other styles.  We are more attracted to the traditional style as can be seen below.
